Buying Pallets

What is the difference between Grade A, B, and C pallets?

Grade A pallets are in like-new condition with minimal wear, perfect for retail and display. Grade B pallets are good quality with minor cosmetic wear, ideal for warehousing and distribution. Grade C pallets are functional with visible wear, best for one-way shipping, storage, or budget applications.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

No, we have no minimum order quantity. Whether you need 10 pallets or 10,000, we can accommodate your needs. For orders under 20 pallets, we recommend pickup from our San Diego facility.

What sizes of pallets do you offer?

We stock all standard sizes including the 48x40 GMA pallet (most common), 42x42 telecom pallets, 48x48 drum pallets, and more. We also offer custom sizes and can source specialty pallets upon request.

Do you offer heat-treated (HT) pallets for export?

Yes, we offer ISPM 15 certified heat-treated pallets suitable for international shipping. These come with the required HT certification stamp and are essential for exporting goods to most countries.

What is the typical weight capacity of your pallets?

Our Grade A and B pallets typically support 2,500 lbs static load and 2,200 lbs dynamic load. Heavy-duty options can support up to 5,000 lbs. We can recommend the right pallet based on your specific load requirements.

Can I see samples before ordering?

Visit our facility at 9550 Chesapeake Dr, San Diego, CA 92123 to see samples of all grades. We encourage customers to inspect our inventory and discuss their needs with our team.

Selling Pallets

What types of pallets do you buy?

We buy pallets of all conditions - from premium quality to damaged. We assess each lot and provide fair market value based on condition. We purchase wood pallets of all sizes, though standard 48x40 GMA pallets command the best prices.

How do I get a quote for my pallets?

Fill out our contact form or call us with details about your pallets including quantity, condition, and location. We typically provide quotes within 24 hours. For large quantities, we can send a representative for on-site evaluation.

Do you offer pickup services?

Yes, we offer free pickup for quantities of 50+ pallets throughout San Diego County. For smaller quantities, we may charge a nominal pickup fee based on distance. Regular pickup programs are available for businesses with ongoing pallet accumulation.

How much do you pay for used pallets?

Pricing varies based on pallet condition, size, and current market demand. Grade A pallets fetch the highest prices, while damaged pallets are paid at recycling rates. Contact us for current pricing on your specific pallets.

How quickly do you pay?

We pay at the time of pickup for most transactions. For larger ongoing accounts, we offer net-15 and net-30 payment terms. Cash, check, and direct deposit options are available.

Recycling

What happens to pallets that can't be repaired?

Unusable pallets are processed into valuable byproducts: wood chips for landscaping, mulch for gardens, and biomass fuel for energy production. We have a zero-landfill goal - nothing goes to waste.

Can I get a recycling certificate?

Yes, we provide recycling certificates upon request documenting the proper disposal of your pallet materials. This documentation can be valuable for sustainability reporting and environmental compliance.

Is there a fee for pallet disposal?

For pallets we can recycle or repair, there is no disposal fee. In fact, we often pay for recyclable pallets. Contaminated or non-wood materials may incur a small disposal fee.

Do you recycle plastic pallets?

We primarily focus on wood pallets but can accept limited quantities of plastic pallets. Contact us to discuss your plastic pallet recycling needs and we'll advise on the best solution.
